Scope of this policy
This policy covers information collected through the Site and through calls you place to phone numbers shown on the Site. "We", "us" and "our" mean the Site and its operator.
It does not cover the independent contractors your call is connected to. Contractors are separate businesses. What you tell a contractor, and anything you arrange with them, is governed by their own privacy practices, which you can ask them about.
Information we collect
We keep what we collect to the minimum needed to connect calls and run the Site.
- What you choose to say on a callOn the call, you decide what to tell the contractor, such as your ZIP code, address and a description of the fire damage. The Site itself has no forms and never asks you to type in personal information.
- Call informationOur phone system may record the number you called from, the number you dialed, the date, time and length of the call, and your general area based on the phone number, so the call can be routed to a contractor who serves your area. If a call is recorded, you will hear a notice at the start of it.
- Technical informationOur hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which can include IP address, browser and device type, pages requested and the time of each request.
- Information we do not collectWe do not collect email addresses, run sign-up or contact forms, keep marketing lists, or ask for payment card numbers, Social Security numbers or other government identifiers.
How we use information
- To connect the call you placeCall information is used to route your call to an independent contractor who serves your area, so you can speak with them on that call.

How long we keep information
Call information is kept only as long as needed to route calls, resolve disputes and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security. When information is no longer needed it is deleted or de-identified.
How we protect information
The Site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and access to call information is limited to the people and providers who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold.

We will need to verify your identity, usually by matching the phone number your original call came from, before we act. An authorized agent may make a request for you with your written permission.
We aim to respond within 45 days. If we need more time, as some laws allow, we will tell you why and how long. If we decline a request, we will explain why and how you can appeal that decision.
